Rockabye Baby! Lullaby Renditions of AC/DC (2008)

Amazingly enough, AC/DC songs actually do make very pretty lullabies when done up on Mellotron and bells with all the rough edges soothed away, but there's something decidedly sinister about sending one's child to sleep listening to "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" or "Highway to Hell," no matter how lovely they might sound after being put through the sanitizing blender. AC/DC proudly proclaimed that "Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution." These versions, so perversely sweet, just might be.

AC/DC - TNT (1975)

Angus y Malcolm Young, pensaron la idea del nombre para la banda, después de ver escrito "AC/DC", en la parte de abajo de la máquina de coser de su hermana, Margaret. AC/DC es la abreviación, en inglés, de "corriente alterna/corriente continua (alternating current/direct current), que indica que un dispositivo eléctrico, puede usarse con ambos tipos de tensión. Los hermanos, sintieron que ese nombre simbolizaba la energía y la potencia de las presentaciones de la banda, y el nombre quedó. T.N.T. es el segundo álbum de la banda publicado en diciembre de 1975. Siete de las nueve canciones fueron escritas por Angus Young, Malcolm Young, y Bon Scott. "Can I Sit Next to You Girl" la escribieron los hermanos Young, y "School Days" es una versión de la canción de Chuck Berry.
