Soundtrack - Mischief Invasion (2004)

B-sides a serviceable remix of Archetype from Fear Factory 2004 album of the same name Mischief Invasion is largely instrumental populated by content that sounds cribbed from a stock music agency. Focusing on a vaguely aggressive electronic sound it's the sort of fourth tier big beat that a Spike TV producer would license for the backgrounds of a lowest common denominator reality show. Which is appropriate as this is the soundtrack to an DVD also called Mischief Invasion. It follows a gang of miscreant auto enthusiasts as they crash Europe annual Cannonball Run car rally. This isn't important science or even very entertaining for non gearheads. The rub: Jaguars are destroyed and farts are lit and crappy electronica is along for every ride

Soundtrack - House of Wax (2005)

House of Wax soundtrack is pretty adequate for a quickie summer horror picture about the stalking, killing, and eventual waxing of handsome young people. It begins with the stinging beats and mild nihilism of "Spitfire" from the Prodigy's overlooked 2004 effort Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned. My Chemical Romance seem obsessed with death anyway, so their spiky post-hardcore workout "I Never Told You What I Do for a Living" is a perfect fit. And where would a modern day chiller be without a cut from that lovable ghoul Marilyn Manson? The monger of all that is sinister contributes 1996 NIN ish "Dried Up, Tied and Dead to the World." House of Wax throws some curveballs alongside standard alt metal fare like Disturbed "Prayer" and Bloodsimple "Path to Prevail". It includes all seven minutes of the Stooges' silty, slow-burn 1970 classic "Dirt," and the punkified new wave of the Von Bondies' "Not That Social" is a great lead in to Har Mar Superstar and Karen O's crass-hop romp "Cut Me Up." The set also taps Joy Division's dour, intense "New Dawn Fades," but it seems really out of place. Still, House of Wax includes pretty much what you'd expect from the soundtrack to a movie so scary, it stars Paris Hilton and the Handsome Chad Michael Murray.

Soundtrack - Nightmare Revisited (2008)

A sort of tribute album to a soundtrack, Nightmare Revisited has covers and interpretations, recorded about 15 years after the original film, of material Danny Elfman wrote for the soundtrack of Tim Burton The Nightmare Before Christmas. It likely says something for the stature of both Burton and Elfman that more famous names than usual were enlisted as contributors for this offbeat project, including Marilyn Manson, Polyphonic Spree, Sparklehorse, and Korn. (Elfman himself appears as well, but only to supply opening and closing narrations.) While the premise behind the album might seem daft if you're not familiar with, or especially a fan of, the original soundtrack film, the participation of this extensive roster of artists does ensure that it's quite a bit more interesting and varied than the usual soundtrack disc (or at least soundtrack related, as it is in this case). It sometimes, as you'd expect, has the effect of turning Elfman's goofily gloomy tunes into relatively mainstream early 21st century rock. Yet there are some reasonably interesting twists on which the performers are clearly having fun, especially Polyphonic Spree's eight minutes "Town Meeting Song," which isn't so much a The Nightmare Before Christmas cover as an out and out homage to early 70's David Bowie, so closely does it resemble that superstar's glam days. It's the show stealer on this CD, even if it might have fit better on the Velvet Goldmine soundtrack than this quasi tribute record. But there are some other above average efforts too, like Sparklehorse's pained ballad "Jack's Obsession" and Plain White T's similarly dramatic treatment of "Poor Jack." Reminding us that this was originally a soundtrack and not a rock score, several cuts are more in the ambient action instrumental vein, even getting into a flamenco flavor of the mexican´s Rodrigo y Gabriela's with "Oogie Boogie's Song."

Justo como su predecesor en 2007, Transformers: the Revenge of the Fallen incluye diversos temas Emo/ Pop/Post- Grunge, llevados muy bien de la mano por el Director de la cinta Michael Bay, quien hace uso nuevamente de Linkin Park queriendo aplicar la misma fórmula generada por la anterior película. Nickelback, Avenged Sevenfold, Hoobastank, Staind, y Taking Back Sunday son las cartas fuertes de esta cinta de extenso presupuesto, lo que arroja una incógnita, ¿En realidad está el álbum a la altura de la cinta? Lo que es innegable es que la película es un gran éxito y que será lo que al final del día quedara en nuestra memoria.

Tomado de una ridícula película de terror Snakes on a Plane toma diferentes canciones que ni siquiera aparecen en la película, incluso los temas son remixes de entre una mezcla de diferentes géneros entre los cuales están el Emo/Punk/Pop con tintes de Rap a la buena medida, Mención aparte merece que entre los cortes de las canciones podemos encontrar las clásicas frases por parte del protagonista Samuel L. Jackson como lo es la infame "That's it! I have had it with these muthaf*ckin' snakes on this muthaf*ckin' plane!" esta colección de canciones hacen pensar si en realidad se trata de un álbum soundtrack o si es en realidad es un disco de Ministry of Sound, claro en completa decadencia, a la cabeza de serie ponen a Cobra Starship/Gym Class Heroes/The Academy Is.../The Sounds con su canción Emo/Pop que lo más gracioso es que es ridícula, pero pegadiza Snakes on a Plane (Bring It) dando a demostrar su excelente naturaleza aleatoria para formar un álbum, sin embargo no todo es pena hay temas que levantan la mano para incluso convertirse en buenos remixes incluso mejor que su versión original como son los casos de The Bronx y su Around the Horn [Louis XIV Remix] y Jack's Mannequin con Bruised [Remix], como sea una extraordinaria manera de lavarse las manos o recomponer camino de lo que fue una película que paso sin pena ni gloria y que una inyección de Raggae por parte de Michael Franti hace despabilar un poco la incógnita si en verdad es un álbum que debe ser desechado o agregado a una buena compilación.

Cinta dirigida por el Director Michael Bay que conto con un gran presupuesto, tomando a dibujos animados de los años 80’s así mismo convirtiéndose en figuras de acción de una famosa compañía de juguetes convirtiéndose en toda una sensación par los niños y en especial para ser n regalo perfecto en navidad, El Soundtrack toma una ruta independiente, una compilación de canciones que, o bien aparecen en la película durante unos segundos o no lo hacen en ella. Transformers: The Movie presenta a HIM, Taking Back Sunday y The Used, todos ellos están tomando la carretera a la zona de peligro de Kenny Loggins con todos estos "música inspirada por" colecciones. Sólo los Goo Goo Dolls con su marca de Tempo Balda Pop son capaces de penetrar la oscuridad Alt-Metal/Post-Grunge, haciendo que las batallas encarnadas protagonizadas por estos gigantes Robot tengan un toque melodramático para así convertirse en la inspiración de muchos y dejando un lema “Before It's Too Late” para así encontrar nuevas legiones de seguidores de esta excelente película.

Continuando con la extraordinaria vision de llevar Libros a la pantalla grande como lo ha hecho Harry Potter Narnia y El Señor de los Anillos Twilight no se queda atras es una serie de cuatro libros escritos por Stephenie Meyer en el cual relata la historia de vampiros romanticos yo vi la pelicula pero hay personas que me aseguran que el libro es mucho mejor eso un dia lo probare lo que si puedo asegurar es que la pelicula esta medio chafa mucho empalague diria yo pero el soundtrack es bueno de la manita de Paramore y Muse hacen que el Soundtrack sea elegible y sobretodo por la cancion de Paramore Decode muy buena.

Adam Sandler es y siempre será uno de mis actores favoritos, en esta ocasión nos entrega una comedia con un mensaje muy claro “ciertas cosas de la vida las descuidamos por atender otras que creemos que son más importantes,” pero que debajo de todo no lo son, hay momentos en la vida que uno trata de quedar bien con alguna persona, pero de alguna manera u otra siempre se termina defraudando a alguien más, lo peor de todo es que siempre es a la persona que no debemos defraudar, así mismo hay días en los que quisiéramos retroceder el tiempo y corregir lo que hicimos mal, siempre está en nuestra cabeza el famoso “Hubiera,” pero tristemente el “Hubiera” no existe, pero ¡alégrate! la vida te premia con errores y problemas en tu vida, para que de ellos aprendas y seas una persona con mucho más experiencia porque nunca se nace sabiendo todo y la gente buena siempre merece una oportunidad y sobretodo recordar que la vida de uno no es coincidencia es reflejo de uno mismo y así como das recibirás, si no has visto la película te la recomiendo muy buena, no te la debes perder seguro te dejara algo como lo hizo conmigo.

Secuela de 1997 Batman & Robin (George Clooney) (Chris O’Donnell) deben enfrentar a un nuevo villano que está azotando a Ciudad Gótica. Isley descubre su proyecto ilegal, y este la descubre y ataca a la joven transformándola en la letal Hiedra Venenosa. Ésta con la ayuda de Bane se traslada a Ciudad Gótica para llevar a cabo su lucha a favor del reino vegetal. También llega a la mansión Wayne, Bárbara Wilson (Alicia Silverstone), sobrina de Alfred (Michael Gough). La joven conseguirá descubrir el secreto de Bruce Wayne y convertirse en Batgirl para ayudar a Batman y a Robin en su lucha contra el crimen, en donde su Banda Sonora es Genial con la colaboración de Smashing Pumpkins, R.E.M., Underworld entre otros hace que sea un Soundtrack poderoso.

Soundtrack - Armageddon (1998)

Técnicamente “banda sonora”,”OST” o “Soundtrack” es la parte de sonido completa y el resultado de la edición de diferentes pistas de sonido, ya sean diálogos, sonidos y música de una película u obra de teatro. Normalmente, y con raras excepciones, el término alude solamente a la música de una película o a la comercialización de los temas musicales de una obra como videojuegos, programas de televisión y radio. Desde un punto de vista musical, se entiende como banda sonora aquella música tanto vocal como instrumental compuesta expresamente para una película, cumpliendo con la función de potenciar aquellas emociones que las imágenes por sí solas no son capaces de expresar. Compositores famosos de bandas sonoras son “Ennio Morricone” (El bueno, el feo y el malo, La misión, Cinema Paradiso...), “John Williams” (Tiburón, La guerra de las galaxias, Indiana Jones...) o “Hans Zimmer” (El Rey León, Gladiador, las tres secuelas de Piratas del Caribe...) por lo cual he llegado a la conclusión de que una buena película no es buena si no cuenta con una banda sonora digna de respeto, Armageddon nos presenta un Soundtrack con artistas de la talla de Aerosmith, Journey, ZZ Top y Jon Bon Jovi, esta película ganadora al Oscar como mejor canción “I Don't Want to Miss a Thing” contiene una historia completamente interesante, fuera de los efectos especiales hay partes muy conmovedoras y a su contraparte escenas cómicas con un reparto de lujo (Bruce Willis, Ben Aflleck, Owen Wilson y Liv Tayler) hacen de Armageddon un extraordinario Film.

Soundtrack - Saw 3 (2006)

Usualmente los soundtracks inpirados en peliculas traen dos o tres tracks buenos y mucho relleno que igual y nada tiene que ver con la pelicula o con el sentido del soundtrack.Pero hay un soundtrack que la verdad me gusto bastante, trae cuando menos a 6 bandas que me gustan mucho y otras canciones que son interesantes y una colaboracion que si bien ya son muy frecuentes en este tipo de entregas aqui quedo muy bien hecha.El soundtrack de la Pelicula "Saw 3" publicado en el año 2006 es muy bueno entre los artistas que incluye estan, Lamb of God, Slayer, All that Remains, Static-X, Mastodon, Ministry, Meshuggah, etc, etc.Tambien incluye la participacion de "Shawnee Smith" quien en la pelicula caracteriza a Amanda en colaboracion con la banda Hidrovibe en la cancion "Killer Inside" y pues a mi gusto les quedo bien.

Soundtrack - Guitar Hero 3: Companion Pack (2007)

Deambulando por internet y tratando de conseguir la 50 y tantas rolas que trae este super videogame me encontre que hay un soundtrack disponible en tiendas con rolas que no vienen en el juego y dije: "A ver" tengo que checar esto en fin solo trae 11 rolas 3 que no son del videogame entre ellos esta la que para mi es una banda revelacion como Flyleaf con la rola Tina
Velvet Revolver con Slither y una rola de Marilyn Manson en Remix medio loca e general el Soundtrack no esta nada mal pero si hubiese estado algo mas heavy si le doy 5 estrellitas.
