Que seria de la musica sin los covers y bueno que seria de los artistas sin los covers, igual y ganarian menos pero bueno hay de covers a covers, unos buenos, unos malos y otros peores, pero si alguna banda muy importante te covereara eso significa que debe ser buen cover o no??Al ver las bandas incluidas en este tributo a Iron Maiden de inmediato tuve que conseguirlo y es que tener o mas bien escuchar cover de Iron Maiden por parte de Metallica, Dream Theater, Machine Head, Devildriver, Trivium, etc, etc. y todo en un mismo disco esta increible, muy bueno la verdad, aun asi me quedo con To Tame a Land de Dream Theater escuchenla esta buenisima

Iron Maiden - Flight 666 (2009)

Como Cheap Trick's En el Budokan (1979) y The Who en el Live at Leeds (1970), Iron Maiden en vivo Después de su extraordinario seminario Live After Death (1985) establecido con éxito a sus creadores como leyendas del rock & roll de polo a polo. Y siendo honestos, la banda todavía suena demasiado firme y comprometida que es la razón principal detrás de su legado perdurable, pero es el número de fans lo más impresionante millones y millones cantan cada una de las canciones lo que hace que el disco sea tan especial. Además, el hecho de que el eterno líder Bruce Dickinson pilotee el (así como en mucho tiempo la mascota "Eddie" mirando desde el timón ") Boeing 757 durante la excursión “Demonios” es muy bueno para ser verdad, por eso es mi ídolo.

Iron Maiden - Somewhere Back in Time: The Best of 1980-1989 (2008)

Heavy metal incondicional por parte de Iron Maiden aún no han recibido el "tratamiento real" cuando se trata de la antología de su sorprendente catálogo coherente, pero Somewhere Back in Time: The Best of 1980-1989 proporciona a sus Fans un semi-decente conjunto de temas del verdadero Heavy Metal toma canciones que hicieron del grupo el más popular. Iron Maiden - A Matter of Life and Death (2006)

Año 2000 Brave New World marcaba el regreso triunfal de la vieja escuela Iron Maiden. Iron Maiden - Death on the Road (2005)

Iron Maiden - Dance of Death (2003)

El baterista Nicko McBrain inicia con Iron Maiden el #13 disco de estudio, para así abrir con un extraordinario tema como lo es "Wildest Dreams". Esta canción de mucha sensibilidad impregna a Dance of Death asi como a las tres primeras y refrescantes todavía leves pistas antes de pasar a la fantasía de rock más conocidos de versiones anteriores. Iron Maiden - Rock in Rio (2002)

Con la reunión de estudio y creación del disco Brave New World para recuperar la imaginación y la intensidad de Iron Maiden en América e incluso en muchos lugares de la patria europea, va a Brasil parecía una decisión inteligente. Fue uno de los pocos lugares que un cuarto de millón de personas disfrutaron de el acto en 2001, y a juzgar por la respuesta de la audiencia, la banda no se molestó mucho. A veces, tenía que estarse preguntando lo que estaban escuchando. Claro, la banda de extraordinaria energía en la abundancia (es difícil de corear una actuación delante de tanta gente que parece gritar en cada uno de los movimientos que la banda hace), sin duda un álbum que vale por doble y que sin lugar a dudas hace que a más de uno de le ponga la piel chinita, el solo imaginar estar ahí y poder había disfrutado de tan esplendoroso concierto hace olvidar tiempos pasados que no fueron tan gloriosos (Era Blaze Bayley) que para unos cuantos por no decir muchos lo consideran basura y para olvidar basura como esa el mejor concierto de Maiden Rock in Rio.

Iron Maiden - Brave New World (2000)

Iron Maiden - Virtual XI (1998)

La Disquera CMC Internacional ofreció un contrato a las bandas de metal del pasado en su primera nueva oportunidad para liberar un disco. Iron Maiden - The X Factor (1995)

Que sufren de una falta de riffs potentes y canciones bien escritas, si, pero son Iron Maiden, no es la alineación original, pero esta la escencia. The X Factor es un esfuerzo de los últimos días álbum de Iron Maiden. Iron Maiden - A Real Dead One (1993)

When the time came to conclude the Bruce Dickinson era with their second official live album, heavy metal legend Iron Maiden was faced with the common dilemma of how to adequately balance both old and new material into one package. So instead of releasing a continuous double-disc set combining the two, the band chose the novel approach of issuing two separate albums: A Real Live One, containing songs released after 1985's milestone Live After Death set; and A Real Dead One, containing updated versions of their early classics. Unfortunately, the latter's almost complete lack of surprises makes for a pretty lackluster experience, especially since the band's live performances add little to the original studio versions. Still, the resurrection of a few more obscure offerings from their early days like "Prowler," "Transylvania," and "Where Eagles Dare" will certainly satisfy fanatics.

Iron Maiden - A Real Live One (1993)

Though Live After Death remains the strongest documentation of Iron Maiden on-stage, A Real Live One isn't a bad listen at all. Maiden was a band that always believed in giving its audience a monster of a show, and on the whole, the CD (recorded everywhere from France and Italy to Denmark and Finland) does a good job capturing the type of excitement these imaginative gothic headbangers generated on-stage. The idea behind the album is to pick up where Live After Death left off and emphasize material recorded after 1985, and the Brits do exactly that with inspired versions of such favorites as "From Here to Eternity," "The Evil That Men Do," "Bring Your Daughter...to the Slaughter," and "The Clairvoyant." One could nitpick about various omissions, but the bottom line is that A Real Live One isn't an album Maiden devotees will want to pass up.

Iron Maiden - Fear of the Dark (1992)

While 1992's Fear of the Dark was definitely more of a return to form for Iron Maiden, it still wasn't quite on par with their exceptional work from the '80s. Easily an improvement over 1990's lackluster No Prayer for the Dying (both musically and sonically), the album debuted on the U.K. charts at number one. The opening "Be Quick or Be Dead" proved Maiden could easily hold their own with younger thrash metal bands, "From Here to Eternity" contained lyrics that seem better fitted for Mötley Crüe, while the expected epic album-closing title track would become a concert staple (all three tracks were released as U.K. singles). While Maiden records of the past would contain an album's worth of first-rate material, Fear of the Dark is again weighed down with too many drab compositions — "Childhood's End," "Chains of Misery," "Judas Be My Guide," and more. The serene "Wasting Love" proves to be one of Maiden's better ballads of the '90s, while the rockers "Fear Is the Key" and "Afraid to Shoot Strangers" are also standouts. Fear of the Dark would be singer Bruce Dickinson's final studio album with the band (until their late-'90s reunion), as he publicly voiced that he felt the band had run its course.

Iron Maiden - No Prayer for the Dying (1990)

With their first album of the '90s, Iron Maiden wanted to return to basics. Comparable to their more straightforward early work, No Prayer for the Dying quickly shot up the charts all over the world, but it was clear that the songwriting wasn't up to snuff when compared to such classics as Killers or Number of the Beast. The album also signaled the debut of new guitarist Janick Gers, best known for his stint in Ian Gillan's solo band and on Bruce Dickinson's solo album, Tattooed Millionaire. Featuring a pair of U.K. hit singles — the anti-televangelist diatribe "Holy Smoke" and Maiden's lone number one, the controversial "Bring Your Daughter...to the Slaughter" (which was banned by the BBC) — plus another that should have been issued as a single (the opener, "Tailgunner"), No Prayer as a whole doesn't measure up to the hits. The title track contains an opening too reminiscent of their 1988 single "Infinite Dreams," while other tracks such as "Fates Warning," "Run Silent Run Deep," and "Hooks in You" never catch fire. And even though the epic closer "Mother Russia," "Public Enema Number One," and "Fates Warning" are standouts, they just don't hold up well when compared to past classics. While Maiden retained their solid following elsewhere in the world, No Prayer for the Dying would prove to be their last gold-certified album in the U.S.

Iron Maiden - Seventh Son of a Seventh Son (1988)

In 1988, harsh thrash metal and radio-friendly glam rock were the two chief heavy metal styles. Instead of aligning themselves to either camp, Iron Maiden stuck to their guns and issued a concept album, Seventh Son of a Seventh Son. Concept albums had spelled disaster for other metal bands in the past, but this proved not to be the case with Maiden, resulting in what many fans consider their last true classic album (and the last with guitarist Adrian Smith, until their late-'90s reunion). Although the songs are all lyrically tied together by the story of a prophet who tries (unsuccessfully) to warn a village of an impending holocaust, they don't have to be listened to in succession to be enjoyed — one of the main reasons the album worked so well. A total of four singles were issued in the U.K. (all Top Tens) — "Can I Play with Madness?," "The Evil That Men Do," "The Clairvoyant," and "Infinite Dreams" — which all prove to be the album's best cuts. But like earlier Maiden albums, this is a complete album — while "Moonchild," "The Prophecy," "Only the Good Die Young," and the epic title track are not as well-known as the singles, they are just as noteworthy. Seventh Son of a Seventh Son marked the end of a golden era for one of metal's all-time best bands.

Iron Maiden - Somewhere in Time (1986)

With such superb albums as Number of the Beast, Piece of Mind, and Powerslave, Iron Maiden had forged a completely original heavy metal sound. Feeling that they'd taken it as far it could go, the band decided to broaden their sound with the use of synthesizers for their sixth studio album, 1986's Somewhere in Time. While many other metal bands used synths in the '80s to appeal to the pop audience, Maiden wisely did not overindulge. Instead, they used them to create textures, and were rewarded with one of their most commercially successful releases. And although Maiden's next album, 1988's Seventh Son of a Seventh Son, would perfect this new approach, Somewhere contains many a highlight. Both the "do it now" rocker "Wasted Years" and the more melodic "Stranger in a Strange Land" were successful singles/videos, while other prominent tracks included the album-closing epic, "Alexander the Great," the frenzied opener, "Caught Somewhere in Time," and the singalong concert fave, "Heaven Can Wait." Although not quite as substantial as its predecessors (filler crops up here and there), Somewhere in Time succeeded in broadening Maiden's sound without alienating their longtime metal fans.
